Deputy Mayor


Leah McGrath is a veteran communications and public policy specialist. She spent the last four out of five years with the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns, where she most recently led the government affairs team as Director, serving as a public policy liaison and advocate for municipal issues at the State of Indiana and Indiana General Assembly. Her 15-year career has included stints in public relations and marketing research, in addition to her municipal work.

Fishers' Deputy Mayor

Leah was appointed in July 2015, and her attention was immediately on the Fishers Comprehensive Plan, and other key initiatives, as well as the management of day-to-day operations.

Since leading the Fishers 2040 plan, Deputy Mayor McGrath leads key initiatives with non-profits, the Mayor's Council on Disabilities, Planning and Zoning, and Parks & Recreation.
