In an effort to make Fishers more accessible, the City of Fishers is focused on making its parks user friendly for all abilities. Fishers Parks Director Tony Elliot will dedicate a wheelchair-friendly glider at Holland Park, which was provided in conjunction through contributions from the Fishers Kiwanis Club and IU Health Saxony. Open to the public.

The one and half hour adult comedy show will headline national comedian, Scott Long. Scott uses his fun, light-hearted comedy to connect with those families who have children with disabilities. Scott is a resident of Fishers and his oldest daughter, Maddie, has autism.The show will also feature Jeffrey Lewis and Jeremy Brown. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 or for $25 at the door. Tables of eight can be purchased for $125.Food will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go to the Hamilton County Special Olympics. This event is recommended for those 18 years of age and older.
Scott Long is a nationally touring comedian who has appeared on NBC, Fox-TV, and the Bob and Tom Show. For the past 13 years, he wrote the Frank Caliendo comedy sketches for the NFL on Fox and ESPN. Scott has toured nationally throughout 45 states and proudly accomplishes these career highlights, while always being based in the Indianapolis area.
