  1. “My Point Of View Day” Panel Discussion & March Capstone Event

    March 28, 2017, 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. @ City Hall Auditorium

    Fishers Disability Round table puts all of the pieces together through “My Point Of View.” Citizen volunteers will share their point of view with people whose decisions can make a difference.Volunteers will be paired with applicable city and business leaders regarding a topic below. Some groups may remain at Kroger the location for discussion. Others may venture to a different location that illustrates a need or promotes an idea for the future.Some of the key areas include: Employment, Infrastructure, Technology, Housing, Transportation and Enforcement. The group will reconvene at Fishers City Hall for a round table discussion on what has been learned that day.It will be an opportunity to recap the month of activities.Kroger will donate refreshments.This will concluded the month long initiative.

    March 28, 2017, 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. @ Roy G. Holland Memorial Park

    This winter, we’re offering a new opportunity for you to connect with other readers in our community through a monthly book club. Adults 16 and older will meet on one Tuesday of the month to explore different novels. Participants should come prepared to share and discuss possible book choices during the first meeting on January 17. Pre-registration is appreciated, but registration is due before the first meeting on January 17.
