CodeRED
code red logoCodeRED Emergency Notification System

CodeRED is a high-speed notification solution that allows Fishers officials to quickly deliver messages to targeted areas or the entire community in emergency situations.

During emergency situations, the system will alert subscribers of important information, such as public safety or weather-related threats, by phone call, email, and text message.

Signing Up for CodeRED

No one should automatically assume their phone number is included. Fishers urges all individuals and businesses to register for CodeRED Community Notification Enrollment. Required information includes first and last name, street address (no P.O. boxes are accepted), city, state, zip code, and primary phone number.  An additional phone number may be entered, as well.

Access Your CodeRed Account

Log in to your CodeRED account if you need to update your information. Look for "Login" at the top of the page.

Data Entry Security

CodeRED assures an easy and secure method for inputting information. Data collected will only be used for emergency notification purposes.

Need Help?

If you have questions about the CodeRED system, or need help signing up, please call (317) 595-3111.

Opting Out

Residents who no longer wish to receive CodeRED emergency alerts may contact (317) 595-3111 and request to be placed on the do not call list.

Please be aware that:
  • CodeRed is the primary communication system for Fishers in the event of an emergency. Those on the do not call list may not receive important updates during an emergency.
  • Asking to be placed on the do not call list through Fishers will prevent you from receiving further calls from the City of Fishers. However, if another municipality develops a CodeRED system (such as Hamilton County or the state of Indiana), they may start with databases that include your phone number and you would need to contact them directly to be placed on their individual do not call list.
