Memorial Day offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the heroes and the sacrifices they have selflessly made. This Memorial Day, join the City of Fishers and countless residents to honor the service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifices for our freedoms.

Memorial Day Community Ceremony 
Celebrate Memorial Day with the City of Fishers. Residents are invited to stop by the Central Green on Monday, May 29 beginning at 10:30 a.m. We will honor the fallen service members in our community and nation-wide with an event at Liberty Plaza.

Boy Scout Troop 199 will present the colors and Mayor Fadness and a special guest will address the crowd.  The Heartland Quintet will also play a few songs to recognize the occasion. Residents are encouraged to stay for the duration of the event. 91 year-old Fishers resident and retired U.S. Air Cop. Veteran Wayne Caldwell will be reading Sir Walter Scott's A Native Land before the moment of silence and playing of TAPS. Whether you have personally lost a service member, or just want to recognize the ultimate sacrifices that have been made, you are encouraged to attend this free, community-wide ceremony.
