March Disability Awareness

March has been designated as National Disability Awareness Month. The Fishers ADA/Disability Roundtable and the City of Fishers values its citizens with physical and intellectual disabilities. Both organizations have worked together to organize a month-long campaign to bring awareness about disabilities, and to educate the community about inclusion.

This year’s 2017 March Disability Awareness Month theme emphasizes that people with disabilities are people first. They are co-workers, classmates, and neighbors who want to be included in their communities – just like everyone else.

Stay tuned for a list of 2018 events, coming soon!
