At Fishers Parks & Recreation, we want to help make spending time in nature YOUR second nature with our various programs. There are ample benefits to spending time in the great outdoors, including:

Check Out a BackpackGeist Park Trail
Check out a backpack at the Fishers Parks & Recreation office and let us help you explore nature! Backpacks include field guides, binoculars and many other useful items. We have backpacks for all ages, including preschoolers, youth and teens, and adults.  

Backpacks can be checked out for 7 days at a time and can be picked up at the Fishers Parks & Recreation Office on Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. We have a limited quantity of each type, so please call our office at (317) 595-3150 to check availability or place the backpack on hold. A
 copy of your driver’s license and a damage deposit of $50 (checks only) are required. Check will be held and returned when backpack is returned in good condition with all accessories undamaged.
