Donations

Fishers Youth Assistance Program

From March 20 - May 1, 2020, Fishers Youth Assistance Program will be collecting the following food items: 

  • Canned fruit 
  • Canned vegetables 
  • Canned beans 
  • Cereal boxes 
  • Mac and cheese boxes 
  • Pasta sauce 
  • Peanut butter jars 

These will be provided to any family in need who reaches out to the Fishers Youth Assistance Program with food insecurity. 

Beginning May 1, 2020, they will be turning their collection to meet the needs of their summer meals program. With the economic impacts of COVID-19 they expect needing to serve a larger number of families in the summer of 2020. All items requested will be handed out during their summer meals program to registered families: 

  • Canned chicken 
  • Canned fruit and/or individual fruit/applesauce cups 
  • Canned vegetables 
  • Canned beans 
  • Cereal boxes 
  • Jelly (plastic bottle) 
  • Mac and cheese boxes and/or individual cups 
  • Mashed potato cups 
  • Microwave rice pouches 
  • Pancake mix 
  • Pasta sauce 
  • Peanut butter jars 
  • Ranch dressing (plastic jar) 
  • Soup Syrup (plastic bottle)

Donations are encouraged to be dropped off at the Delaware Township office at 9090 131st Street, Fishers, IN during office hours on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but they can also be dropped off after hours in the grey tub outside.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS:

Delaware Township Food Pantry: 9090 131st Street,  (317) 773-1282 Open M – F 9 am – 4 pm:  If you’d like to donate non-perishable items, please check the Food Pantry Needs list. Donations are accepted during business hours; however, every effort is made to accommodate after hour drop off when requested. In addition, donations can be dropped off at Christ Community Church at 13097 Allisonville Road. There is a donation bin in the main vestibule if the church entrance. Donations can be placed in the bin. Someone will pick them up and bring them to the trustees when they are available.

Fall Creek Township Food Pantry: 11595 Brook School Road, 317-841-3180. Canned Items: Flour, Sugar, Oil, Rice and Pasta Sides, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Crackers, Cereal, Pop-Tarts, Breakfast Bars and Oatmeal. Personal Care Items:  Shampoo, Conditioner, Personal Hygiene Products, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Kleenex. Cleaning Products: Dish Soap, Laundry Detergent, Kitchen/Bathroom Cleaners.  Items can be dropped off at our office Monday thru Friday 9 am to 4 pm. Fishers United Methodist Church Come to Me Food Pantry: 9691 E 116th Street,

We are a food pantry and need to keep our volunteer numbers down right now but we are desperate for food so we can continue feeding families In Hamilton county. Our biggest needs right now are canned meats, cereal, pop tarts, pancake mix and syrup, crackers, beef stew, and snacks. If you can donate, please bring it to the pantry on Wednesday morning. The pantry is in the building behind the church labeled Fellowship Hall.

Sally Burton Food Pantry at St Louis De Montfort: 1141 Hague Road

Donations can be excepted during normal pantry hours: Tuesday 11:30am-1:00pm; Thursday 6:00-7:30pm; Saturday 10:00-11:30am. Some of the items needed are; canned soup/vegetables/fruit/tuna/chicken/spaghetti sauce; pancake mix/syrup; boxed mashed potatoes; rice; peanut butter and grape jelly.
