Community COVID-19 Rating Scale

A series of metrics are analyzed by the Fishers Health Department to determine the community's risk level for the spread of COVID-19. The Health Department uses these metrics in the context of each other to determine the risk level - this includes a combination of leading indicators (such as positivity rate and number of cases) as well as lagging indicators (such as hospital capacity). The Fishers Health Department recommends Hamilton Southeastern Schools and local private schools follow the below metrics to determine phasing or level of in-person instruction.
