Fishers Resident & Fishers School-Based Affiliate Testing

Free COVID-19 Testing for Fishers Residents & Fishers-Based School Affiliates.

In partnership with Mid-America Clinical Lab, the Fishers Health Department conducts free drive-thru testing at the Fishers City Services Building located at 3 Municipal Drive.

If you are testing due to close or direct contact to COVID-19, we recommend that you choose an appointment 5 days from the date of your last exposure to the infected individual.

If you are symptomatic consistent with COVID-19 signs and symptoms, you may be eligible for the BinaxNOW test. If you are symptomatic and are interested in the BinaxNOW test, schedule your testing under "All Hoosiers". If eligible, the testers at the testing site will ask if you are interested in the BinaxNOW test.

Complete the assessment below to schedule an appointment if you are a City of Fishers resident or if you are affiliated with a Fishers-based public/private school and NOT a resident of Fishers. If you are unable to book an appointment, please call 317-595-3211 for access to more appointment times.

The Fishers Health Department offers testing to residents ages five and older. Parents and guardians who live in Fishers city limits must make an appointment for testing. Please arrive at your specified appointment date and time to avoid delays and assure accuracy and efficiency for contact tracers in determining isolation and quarantine timelines. Your QR code will only work at your specified appointment time.

Test Result Turnaround

Test results are typically available in 3 business days, however, with the demand across the country for testing, we are anticipating an increase in testing turnaround times. We cannot guarantee any specific turnaround time for purposes of travel or other needs. The Fishers Health Department does not recommend gathering with those outside of your immediate household at this time.

Testing is available for multiple people in the same car, but please ensure that everyone being tested completes the entire registration for faster service and to allow us to serve more residents.

The Fishers COVID-19 test is not a substitute for any testing ordered by a physician and/or ordered prior to a surgical procedure.

Testing for Children Ages 5+

Prior to bringing a young child for testing, parents and guardians are encouraged to watch the video with their child about the testing process to prepare them for the testing procedure.

Learn more on how to support your child during the testing procedure with this video from Mayo Clinic.

The Fishers Health Department has lowered the age for testing as it anticipates a stronger demand for testing due to the return to in-person learning by Hamilton Southeastern School District on September 8 for grades Pre-K through fourth.
