[ARCHIVED] Fishers Police Arrest Four Indianapolis Men

October 24, 2013

(Fishers, Indiana) – This morning Fishers police officers arrested four Indianapolis men for conspiring to break into vehicles in the parking lot of the Studio 6 Hotel located at 8250 North By Northeast Boulevard (96th Street and Interstate 69).
At approximately 12:00am a Fishers police officer observed two men standing in the rear parking lot of the Studio 6 Hotel. The men quickly began walking away and attempted to hide from the officer by ducking behind a truck. The officer ordered the men to come out from behind the truck and the men complied. The officer located two additional men hiding inside a 2007 Pontiac Grand AM passenger car. During a search of the Pontiac officers located several items belonging to persons other than the four suspects. The men were also in possession of tools commonly used to break into vehicles. All four men were detained and transported to the Fishers Police Department.
Interviews, with the suspects, revealed that earlier in the night they had been involved in several thefts in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirmed they were investigating several thefts from vehicles. Officers were able to recover all of the stolen property from the Indianapolis thefts. The four men were arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
