Fishers, (Indiana): Fishers police respond to shots fired into a residence.

At approximately 11:13pm on Monday night multiple 911 calls were received reporting shots fired in a residential neighborhood.  Fishers Police officers responded to the area and located a home and vehicle in a driveway that had been struck by bullets in the 10900 block of Veon Dr. (southwest of E. 131st Street and Promise Road).  Officers contacted the homeowners and determined no one inside the home was injured.   Further investigation determined that a bullet had traveled into a nearby home, and no one in that home was injured.

Detectives and evidence technicians responded to assist with the investigation.  It is believed the suspect(s) fled the area in a vehicle.   No vehicle description is available at this time.  There is no known on-going threat to the public.

We are asking anyone that has information related to this investigation to contact Detective/Sergeant Robbie Ruble at 317-595-3319.  We are also requesting homeowners in the area check any doorbell or exterior video they may have available in the time frame and contact Fishers Police at 317-773-1282 non-emergency if there are any suspicious persons or vehicles.
