Keep Fishers Beautiful (KFB) returns next month with a weeklong celebration of volunteerism and sustainability from October 1 through 8. The celebration kicks off with Fall City Recycling Day at Billericay Park on Saturday, October 1, and continues throughout the week with volunteer opportunities for residents of all ages to beautify their community and neighborhood this fall.
The lineup includes:
City Recycling Day Saturday, October 1 / 8 a.m.–1 p.m. The popular City Recycling Day event returns this fall at Billericay Park. Residents can recycle electronics, household items, hazardous wastes, and more at this free recycling event. Paper recycling and off-site confidential document shredding is also available. Holland Park HelpersSaturday, October 1 / 9–11 a.m. Spruce up Fishers’ oldest park, Holland Park, for the new season! Plant perennials, paint the shed, rake the sand at the volleyball court, and more. Register here.
