[ARCHIVED] Armed Robbery at the Residence Inn

November 8, 2013

(Fishers, Indiana) – The Fishers Police Department is asking the public for information regarding an armed robbery at the Residence Inn by Marriott located at 9765 Crosspoint Boulevard (96th Street and Interstate 69).

At approximately 10:20pm, last night, the front desk attendant called 911 to report an armed robbery. The victim reported the suspect approached her and displayed a handgun. The suspect ordered the victim to lie down on the floor. The victim cooperated and was not harmed. The suspect removed an undetermined amount of cash and fled.

Fishers police officers quickly set a perimeter and a K-9 Unit searched the area. After an extensive search officers were unable to locate the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this robbery is encouraged to call the Fishers Police Department at 317-595-3300.
