[ARCHIVED] Fishers Police Cops and Kids Holiday Event

On December 14th The Fishers Police Department will join The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 103 in The Cops and Kids Holiday Event. The Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation has identified several families and their children in need of assistance this holiday season. During the event the children will partner with a police officer and purchase winter coats and toys. This program ensures that these deserving families do not have to go without this Christmas.

Major sources of funding for this event include Wal-mart, the local Fishers business community, and monetary donations from citizens.

The Fishers Police Department accepts donations throughout the year. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Fishers Police Department, 4 Municipal Drive Fishers, IN 46038. Please make checks payable to Fishers Police Foundation.

For more information or to make a donation please contact Officer Alicia Ahnert or Officer Tracy Saxhaug at 317-595-3300 or e-mail inquiries to copsandkids@fishers.in.us
