An all-new football team will be coming to the Indianapolis area. The brand-new Fishers Event Center will be the home of an all-new Indoor Football League Team starting in 2025.
The expansion team was announced Tuesday at the grounds of the Fishers Event Center by IFL Commissioner Todd Tryon, Team Owner Jim Hallett, and Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness.
“Great leadership, great market, a beautiful new arena and great ownership,” said Tryon. “Everything we are looking for. 2025 will be here before you know it and the Indy market is going to love this!”
“We are excited to bring another professional sports team to the Indianapolis area,” said Hallett. “The new event center in Fishers is going to become a hub for sports and entertainment and I’m excited to offer another affordable family fun experience in our city.”
“Since the very early plans of the Fishers Event Center came together, we’ve always been driven to create a place that brings the community, families, and entertainment enthusiasts together,” said Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness. “With today’s announcement, we’re excited to bring some of that vision to life and we are thrilled to support our new team in the Indoor Football League.”
The team will be managed by the same front office as the Indy Fuel of the ECHL who are set to begin play in the new event center towards the end of 2024.
All information on the team can be found at, including information on tickets, group outings, and sponsorships. You can currently reserve your spot in line for Indy Indoor Football season tickets for just a $50 refundable deposit per seat.
The official team name will be announced at a later date. You can stay up to date on Indy Indoor Football by following them on social media @IndyIndoorFB.

Entering its 16th season, the IFL will feature a national footprint of 16 teams from coast to coast. 2024 and beyond promises more calculated growth, on and off the field. Keep up with the IFL at
The Indy Indoor Football Team will officially kick off and compete in the Indoor Football League in the brand-new Fishers Event Center in March 2025. The team will play 8 regular season games at home and 16 games total, plus playoffs. This name is a current placeholder to a team name to be announced at a later date.
The Indy Indoor Football Team is owned by Indiana Football Club LLC with owner Jim Hallett, also the owner of Indiana Hockey Club, the group overseeing and managing the Indy Fuel of the ECHL.
