(Fishers, Indiana) – Recently, Movoto Real Estate determined Fishers, Indiana
is one of the safest cities in America. Motovo used the following criteria in producing the ranking of the top ten safest suburbs: property crimes per capita (burglaries, thefts, and motor vehicle thefts), violent crimes per capita (murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults), and chances of being a crime victim. Fishers achieved the ranking of 2nd Safest Suburb in America.
Fishers Police Chief George Kehl stated, “It is quite an honor to be recognized as one of America’s safest suburbs.” “This award is a direct result of the cooperative and supportive partnership between the dedicated men and women of the Fishers Police Department and the Fishers community,” Chief Kehl continued.
Earlier this month, Location Inc. named Fishers as one of the safest cities in America. In both studies Fishers was one of only two cities, in Indiana, to achieve this status. For a complete list of America’s ten safest suburbs please visit http://www.movoto.com/blog/top-ten/safest-suburbs/
