(Fishers, Indiana) - Fishers police officers are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an early morning robbery of a local gas station.
This morning at approximately 6:00 am The Hamilton County Dispatch Center received a 911 call from an employee of the Shell Gas Station, located at 9510 E 126th Street. The caller reported the gas station had been robbed and the suspect fled on foot.
Fishers police officers quickly arrived in the area and set a perimeter. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. After an extensive search officers were unable to locate the suspect. Investigators and Crime Scene Technicians responded to the scene. According to the employee a heavy set black male entered the store, implied he had a gun, and demanded cash. The employee complied and was not injured.
