[ARCHIVED] Fishers Police Search For Prowler in the Wellington Apartment Complex

CRIME WATCH ALERT
Last night, shortly after 12:00am Fishers police officers responded to the Wellington Apartment Complex (106th Street and Lantern Road) on a report of a prowler. A resident, on Bradwell Place reported an unknown male was looking into his daughter’s window. He advised the male ran away when the resident looked out at him. Upon arrival, an officer observed a subject standing behind the victim’s apartment. The suspect ran eastbound when he saw the officer’s patrol car.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing blue jeans, an unzipped blue hooded sweatshirt, and a white shirt with writing on it. A perimeter was quickly established and two police K-9s searched the area. The suspect was not located. The police department is asking anyone that may have been in area last night or possibly observed this suspect to please call the Fishers Police Department at 317-595-3300.

The Fishers Police Department encourages residents to immediately notify the Hamilton County Dispatch Center at 317-773-1282 (non-emergency) or 911 whenever they observe suspicious persons or activity.
