Fishers (Indiana) – Last night Fishers police officers arrested an Indianapolis man for stealing tires from a local car dealership.

Shortly after 9:00pm last night, a Fishers police officer observed a suspicious pick-up truck parked on the lot of the Ed Martin Nissan Dealership located on Britton Park Road (136th Street and State Road 37). While checking the security of the business the officer witnessed a man loading tires into the bed of the pick-up truck. The officer approached the man and asked him if he had permission to remove the tires from the dealership. The man admitted to stealing the tires for the purpose of reselling them at his used tire business in Indianapolis. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
