[ARCHIVED] Fishers Crime Watch Alert

June 2, 2015
Theft & Burglary Suspects in Fishers

There have been reports of a man and a woman targeting neighborhoods in the east Fishers and northeast Indianapolis area. These suspects normally work together posing as employees of a pest control company. They canvas the area and return at a later time to commit crime.

The suspects are known to place beads on the mailboxes of homes that have dogs.

Fishers Chief of Police George Kehl strongly encourages residents to immediately report suspicious activity such as strangers walking, driving, or hanging around their neighborhoods. Residents should also be on alert for beads on mailboxes or persons claiming to be with a pest control company.

The suspects are described as a white male and white female; both appear to be in their 20s or 30s. The female suspect is described as having bleach blonde hair.

They are known to drive a black SUV.

Anyone that observes subjects matching this description should call 911 immediately.

Questions regarding this matter can be directed to Sergeant Tom Weger at 317-595-3308.
