Yesterday afternoon the Fishers Police Department responded to a disturbance involving a man with a gun.
Shortly before 4:00pm a resident of the 7400 block of Madden Drive called to report that Travon Davis was threatening to shoot up his home. Officers responded to the home and met with the resident. The resident told officers that Travon was upset because earlier in the day he located a small amount of illegal drugs, belonging to Davis, and flushed them down the toilet. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate Travon. Officers informed the resident to call 911 if they observed Travon near their home.
Less than an hour later, the Hamilton County Dispatch Center received a 911 call from the homeowner, on Madden Drive, advising Travon was in his yard with a gun. Officers quickly returned to the home and observed several men fighting just inside the front door. Officers detained Travon and recovered the gun.
During the fight the suspect received a few minor injuries. Officers transported him to the hospital for a medical clearance and then to the Hamilton County Jail.
The remaining parties were not injured during this incident.
