[ARCHIVED] Two Arrested After Attempting to Break into Police Car

On Thursday, August 22st Fishers police officers arrested a man and woman after an off-duty officer observed the man attempting to break into an unmarked police car in the Woods of Britton Apartment Complex (141st Street and Old Oak Drive).
At approximately 5:20am an off-duty Fishers police officer observed a Honda passenger car parked in front of his residence. The female driver remained in the Honda and was taken into custody without incident.
The male suspect was transported to the IU Saxony Hospital for an injury to his leg. Upon release from the hospital he was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The female suspect was transported to the Fishers Police Department. After speaking with Fishers Detectives the female was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
