[ARCHIVED] Calling All Halloween Enthusiasts

Fishers, IN – On Friday, October 4, from 7-10 p.m., join the Fishers Parks & Recreation department for its popular Halloween Hikes at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve. If you miss the first hike, the second hike will take place on Saturday, October 5 from 6-9 p.m. Families and children of all ages are welcome to spend an evening outdoors celebrating creepy crawlers and fancy flyers of the invertebrate world. This family-friendly event encourages participants to bring hot dogs or s’mores fixings to roast by the campfire. Costumes are welcomed but not required however there is the potential for costumes to get dirty while on the hike. Hikes leave every 15 minutes during the event and your time will be assigned during registration and noted on your receipt. This program is $6 for Fishers residents and $9 for non-residents. Children under three are free.
