[ARCHIVED] Halloween Movies, Pumpkin Painting and more with Fishers Parks & Recreation

Fishers, IN – Celebrate Halloween in Fishers with a full month of themed activities. This Friday, Join us for Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie (2005), G, the first of two Halloween movies at the Nickel Plate District amphitheater. On Friday, October 18, join us for a showing of Frankenweenie (2012), PG. Start time is set for dusk. Don’t forget your blankets and snacks for two nights of movie fun!

Children ages 2-5 are invited to a Pumpkin Painting Workshop on Friday, October 18 from 10-10:45 a.m. at Billericay Park. Caregivers and little ones are invited to bring a pumpkin to decorate and come ready to express their inner artists. The program costs $4 for residents and $6 for nonresidents, and adult participation is required. Be sure to sign up now! Registration for this event is due October 11.

Children ages 3-6 are invited to Halloween Cookies and a Story on Tuesday, October 22 from 1-2 p.m. at Roy G. Holland Memorial Park Building. Bring your creativity to decorate Halloween cookies using orange and black frosting and sprinkles. This program costs $12 for residents and $18 for nonresidents. Registration is now open and is due by October 15.

Monster Mania will take place on Wednesday, October 30 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Billericay Park Building. Children ages 3-7 are invited to create a funny monster mask, play silly monster games, dance to the monster mash, enjoy a monster snack and more. This program costs $12 for residents and $18 for nonresidents. Registration is due by October 23, so be sure to secure your spot as soon as possible.
