[ARCHIVED] Fishers Police Arrest Two Women For Possession Of Stolen Property

(Fishers, Indiana) – During the overnight hours Fishers police officers arrested two women for possession of stolen property. The women are suspected of breaking into cars in Marion County and were preparing to break into a car in Fishers when officers stopped them. The two women will also face criminal charges in Marion County.
At approximately 11:00pm on Tuesday, October 8th Fishers police officers were patrolling the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 9785 North by Northeast (96th Street and Interstate 69). The officers observed a white Chevrolet passenger car parked in the rear of the hotel. Officers watched as the Chevrolet exited the parking lot. After following the vehicle for a short distance officers conducted a traffic stop.
During the initial contact the officers found the Chevrolet was occupied by two females. While speaking with the women officers learned the vehicle contained stolen property. The suspects told officers the property was taken from two vehicles parked near Keystone at the Crossing, in Indianapolis. IMPD confirmed the thefts from two cars. The two women were arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. The stolen items were returned to the rightful owners.
