[ARCHIVED] Fishers Police Investigate Serious Motor Vehicle Crash on Allisonville Road

(Fishers, Indiana) – The Fishers Police Department is investigating a serious motor vehicle crash, involving a pedestrian, that occurred on Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 4:30pm on November 7, 2021, police officers responded to the crash on Allisonville Road near the intersection of White Oaks Drive. Upon their arrival, emergency crews located a black 2013 Kia Optima stopped in the southbound lane of Allisonville Road. A pedestrian was transported to an area hospital.

The Fishers Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the crash. Based on evidence collected at the scene and witness statements it appears the pedestrian was running eastbound, across Allisonville Road, when he crossed into the path of the southbound Kia. The driver immediately stopped and cooperated with the investigation. No citations were issued. This crash remains under investigation.
